Telesales/appointment setter

I need a talented telesales person to set up appointments for me.

I publish two local magazines in London and will need you to contact local businesses, talk to the decision maker, familiarise them with the magazines and arrange an appointment for me to visit, with a view to them advertising in the magazines.

The job is initially for 12 hours over a one-week period, setting up appointments for within a 3-week period. A minimum of 10 appointments is expected and a bonus given for each appointment over 14 appointments. Of these local businesses, some will already know of the magazines, but all will benefit from advertising their services within their pages, as the magazines have a proven track record and are very popular locally.

If the selected person works well, there will be ongoing work throughout the year. Opening and closing sales can be considered and a commission rate discussed after a required number of sales.

Ideally I would prefer someone based in West London, but this certainly isn’t essential.

You will be provided with:
- A database of contacts
- Copies of the magazines/rate card
- Info on the company
- Appointment time slots to work to

I expect the database to be emailed back after each period/day worked, detailing calls made and appointments set up.

My style is not hard, pushy sales and I am looking for someone who is personable on the phone but highly skilled at getting those appointments booked.
