Sales role — premium driving holidays (UK based)

I run Road Trip Co, a UK travel company selling premium driving holidays. We get a steady flow of inbound leads (people who've already shown interest via our website, WhatsApp or email) and I need someone to pick these up, call them, understand what they want, and help them book their trip.

We've got a sales process and script already in place, so you're not starting from scratch — but I want someone who can actually build a genuine connection with the customer on these calls, not just read from a script and go through the motions. Listen properly, ask the right questions, and make them feel like they're talking to someone who cares about getting them the right holiday. If you go through the motions, this won't be a good fit.

A fair few of these leads won't pick up first time — so you'll need to be comfortable with that and persistent without being pushy.

What you'd be doing:
- Calling and messaging leads who've already enquired
- Having a proper conversation to understand what they actually want and their budget — sometimes that's different to what they first enquired about, so part of the job is steering them to the right trip, not just the one they clicked on
- Taking down all the details properly so I can put together the quote (you won't be quoting yourself at this stage)
- Booking a follow-up call with them once I've sent the quote over, to talk it through

What I need from you:
- Real sales experience, ideally something consultative or high-value (travel, events, cars, property — anything where you're not just pushing a cheap product)
- Confident on the phone, genuinely good with people, comfortable with a lot of no-answers before you get a yes
- UK based, available to work UK daytime hours
