Hi everyone.
I am looking for a someone with a background in recruitment to approach some local agents in the aim of getting a "conversation" to happen.
in the UK, the Estate Agency models have changed in recent times. traditionally its "employed" roles with a basic salary and a small nominal commission on top of this.
Over the past 3 years the Self Employed Broker model has started to pick up with more and more agents getting on board with the aim of not getting a basic but getting a much better level of commission on the back of it.
the negative is, a lot of these schemes mean that you have to give a percentage to the overhead Broker along with a monthly "subscription" cost each month to be on the platform AND pay for all your own marketing.
I offer something slightly different.
I offer a office to work from, marketing costs covered, photography and videography included (including the editing) and sales progression included all of which these other models to not offer. I also offer admin support for things like compliance and all other paperwork, i also offer coaching and no subscription fee meaning they get a share of the commission and don't need to worry about any overheads and they get a 50% commission split on everything, sales commission, rentals, mortgages, solicitors etc its 50% on everything.
I am looking for someone to approach the agents under these brands, and explain that you have a client that can offer all of these, and to see if they would be interested in discussing it further. it may be a case of they are happy where they are (and if so, then great just let them know what we offer incase their situation changes) however if they are thinking of changing but arent sure of better options it might be perfect to approach them.
we have a great culture, an amazing reputation locally and have achieved some real good results. but i haven't advertised we have these opportunities so this will be the first "proactive" outreach of it.
i have got 3 agents under this scheme so far and its works successful so far and we are always getting approached by people for "employed" roles but we only offer this self employed role to attract hungry, motivated individuals who want to progress.
depending on the outcome, i would look at potential doing this as a weekly/monthly strategy with the aim of consistent growth.
