We are an award winning ethnic media publisher with a number of print and online titles. Our main office is based in East Anglia though we operate from a number of virtual offices nationwide. We want to create a freelance sales team to expand our key print publication and for a potential further title that we intend launching in early 2009.
We are looking for self motivated, dynamic sales people who have a lot of experience in telesales, in particular with media telesales. A knowledge of the ethnic market would be an advantage, though not a necessity.
This is a commission only position plus additional bonuses, which can generate a fantastic annual income. You must have access to the internet and be quite IT friendly.
Our key publication is a free monthly magazine which is distributed nationwide to over 3,700 black majority churches and is read by three generations of church goers. We are the only publication of its kind in the UK.
The black churches are the most stable, prosperous and influential institutions within the BME community. This particular publication is a vehicle for reaching this nice audience and potential advertisers can range from heads of charities, community service providers, business leaders,
MPs, local authorities and educational institutions all of which have an obligation to promote diversity.
Our other titles are online and in print and include a news and information portal (secular) a directory website and print version, and dating sites all targeting Britain's diverse community. Advertising can be sold across all the titles.
Advertising and/or sponsorship revenue is our only source of income as all our publications are free to access and use.
