General route to achieve the above information:

1. First identify the hospitals from the NHS website http://www.nhs.uk/servicedirectories/pages/acutetrustlisting.aspx
2. Start at the first one and call and ask to speak to the estates department. If they have an estates department and they put you though then explain that you are calling from a patient safety security company primarily focused on baby tagging and dementia care (they may say at this point that they do not have maternity care in their trust). Try to get hold of the person in the department who is responsible for this risk.
3. If you cannot get though to the person then ask for there contact details either email or postal so you can send further information. If they say they as away from their desk or simply not in ask for there phone number or is the same number is it ok to call again to speak to them. Get date and time if possible.
4. If you get though to them straight away (sometimes happens) then explain that you are contacting all maternity hospitals to ascertain if they have a baby tagging system or may be looking to upgrade. Explain that we are the market leaders and have many reference sites and would love a chance to meet and demonstrate the system.
