MEDIA LISTS BRIEF

Overview
We sell a poster that helps people learn the piano and produce music:

To help us with our marketing efforts, we need to generate 7 lists of contacts related to our product/industry. The lists vary in platform, and in the information we require for them, but each list must contain 200 entries. Every list has at least 1 entry in it as a starting point.

On all lists ‘Publication / Site’ & ‘URL’ must be completed, along with at least 1 contact method (the only exception is Reddit & Instagram that does not require a contact method unless one is available).

All lists must be formatted properly i.e all formatting removed (apart from hyperlinking).

Lists must be filled with quality information - care must be taken to fill out the lists as comprehensively as possible, with quality leads.

Affiliate - this list is for any websites related to our industry, that already display banner advertising (such as google ads). It is our intention to contact these websites to get them to place banners advertising our products on their site.

Instagram - channels related to our industry that we can promote our product through.

Publishers - publishers of musical literature (sheet music, educational books etc) that might want to distribute our product. The publisher must publish music-related material of some kind, though it does not have to be the only thing they publish.

For YouTube, Reddit & Instagram channels, searching related content to those you’ve just discovered is a good way of finding new content. The channels in question must have a sufficient audience (5,000+)

Acquiring contact details

Check the following pages on a website as they usually have to put contact details on these pages if they do not feature elsewhere on the site:
- Privacy Policy
- Terms & Conditions
- Returns Policy

Also check the domain registry:

Requirements

Affiliate
- Must have existing banner advertising on site.
- Must at least provide an email address, but full contact details are preferred.

Instagram
- Must include channel name and subscriber count, plus contact details if readily available.

Licensing
- Must include physical address and one other form of contact (either email or telephone number).
- Contact Name is preferred.

Music Shops
- Must include physical address and email address. May need to look at returns policy to find these.

Publishers
- Must include physical address and email address.
- Contact Name is preferred.

Reddit
- Must include channel name & subscriber count.

YouTube
- Must include channel name & subscriber count.
- Must include email address.
