The role:
• Make outbound sales calls to tradespeople from our database
• Log call outcomes in Airtable
• Explain the service and close sign-ups
• Enter client details via our admin website portal
• Add payment details for successful sign-ups (we handle ID, insurance, and verification)
Requirements:
• UK-based
• Confident, experienced phone sales agent
• Own phone & internet
• Able to commit 1–2 hours per day
• Reliable, professional, and results-driven

At the moment we’re focusing on high-demand homeowner trades such as electricians, plumbers, builders, roofers, cleaners, landscapers, joiners and general maintenance. We’re mainly targeting South Yorkshire / Yorkshire, but this will expand.
Core value proposition:
• Affordable advertising at £50 + VAT per month, cancel anytime
• A verified profile (ID, address, and trade checks where applicable) to build trust
• Promotion across social media, local marketing and leaflets
• As we grow, trades will also be able to contact homeowners actively looking for trades via their login
• We’re a startup with ambition, meaning members get more personal support and exposure, not lost in a directory
Common objections & approach:
• “I’m already on Checkatrade / similar” → We’re not asking them to replace anything, just to add a low-risk, cost-effective extra stream
• “I’m busy / no time” → Signup takes 5 minutes, profile completion can be done later via email
• “Will I get leads?” → Early leads may be slower as we’re a startup, but we actively promote members and are investing heavily in local exposure
Script & messaging:
There is a script provided for guidance, but it’s not rigid. We want confident agents who can adapt naturally while keeping key points consistent. You’ll also receive an agent info pack covering messaging, objections, and FAQs.
Success measurement:
Success is measured by completed sign-ups, full details entered and payment details set up. There’s no hard hourly target; we focus on quality conversations and conversions rather than volume.
