We are looking for a talented and proactive telemarketing person with proven skills in appointment setting to cold call a database of leads in the travel & tourism industry.
You will be required to a)determine the correct person/decision maker to speak to; b) obtain/verify their contact details; c) qualify their interest in our products; and d) secure appointments for myself and our sales director to visit each qualified prospect.
The product is a web technology platform from one of the UK's leading providers of online customer experience management solutions and consulting services. Examples of existing clients include the Met Office, BBC, Virgin Trains and Brittany Ferries, as well as many public sector businesses and government offices.
Candidiates with a successful track record in telemarketing within the fields of web technology &/or enterprise software sales will have a significant advantage.
Your target will be to book at least 2 high quality appointments from the dedicated list provided for each day you work. We will commit to one day per week at the outset and, subject to performance, increase the hours after a trial period.
Ideally, we would prefer to work towards developing a long term relationship with one (home-based) telesales person rather than engage a commercial telemarketing business. Call costs will not be reimbursed.
