We provide an online learning system for English as a Foreign Lanuage (EFL) schools. We are looking for an individual to do commission and hourly work to help us expand our client base first in Sydney and then elsewhere in Australia.
Requirements:
1. Experience teaching English as a Foreign Language, preferably in Australia.
2. Task oriented: The candidate should be very focused on achieving targets
3. Good with people. The candidate needs to be able to relate to and work with a broad range of personalities.
4. Fluent English speaker
Job Description:
There are two parts of this role. Sales and Support.
Sales: We want to build up our client base. For this role you will need to coordinate sales into schools. Specifically your job will be to generate leads and follow up with basic information.
Support: You will be our eyes and ears on the ground at client schools. To do this you will need to establish good relationships with schools staff and have a good understanding of the internal dynamics in an English school in Australia. You will also need competence in EFL education and have the ability to address academic concerns and issues.
Availability:
You will need perhaps 10-20 hours per week for this job. If you are successful and we end up with a solid client base, you will need to be able to respond to client requests relatively promptly. If a client contacts you in the morning, I would generally hope you could respond before the end of the day, certainly within 24 hours.
Pay:
I will pay a commission for any new clients and an hourly rate for support work. Commission payments will be commiserate with your level of experience and how much of the sale you own. We will discuss commission payments with short-listed candidates.
