We are currently working on a marketing strategy for the service we will offer from April 2012. The proposition is tailored to small and medium business owners and will suit businesses operating in virtually any market and niche. In a nutshell, it can be described as off-the-shelf loyalty programme - if you were a B2C business owner, you could imagine it as a shift from “collect 9 stamps on our loyalty card and get the 10th coffee or cake for free” to “collect points & get rewarded in our loyalty programme – similarly to what you experience at {i.e. major grocery retailer} card”.
Our proposition is completely unique not only within the UK but probably worldwide as well (well, if not, we surely do have a few unique selling points). It will allow small businesses - which do not have funds and ultimately required expertise to do it internally – to better connect with consumers and use a whole range of marketing tools which are beyond their reach otherwise.
The strategy is in place, product development completed, USPs defined and we are now at the stage of setting up the sales arm. At this moment, we need a person with relevant experience who can cast a fresh eye on how we are going to approach business owners and help in creating powerful message which will ultimately result in sales.
The first step involves creating content to be posted on out company's website.
Purpose and objectives in regards to our web visitors (this is all B2B):
- To realize how they are limited in terms of local marketing opportunities and what they are missing (the problem)
- To understand our proposition, how it's tailored to their needs and how they can benefit from it (the solution)
- To review our potential and limited alternatives (advantage of partnering with us)
- To answer as many of their initial questions and/or concerns as possible
- To generate interest which will result in a call or web signup (action)
The content should be clear, concise, easy to read and understand as we are talking to the audience showing the whole spectrum of marketing awareness & education.
The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of customer loyalty, tactical & strategic marketing & B2B relations.
To start with, we will provide the proposed structure and flow chart for the website's content and you will be responsible for reviewing, challenging, advising and finally writing it up.
In your proposal, please include to following information:
- CV and/or details of relevant experience
- your proposed hourly rate
- whether your preference is pay-per-hour or pay-per-project with money aspects agreed upfront
- where about you are based
- how much time you can dedicate for this job in March
- your availability during an average day - this job will require significant amount of phone/personal interaction
- when can you start
