Sales agents / distributors

We are a small importer and distributor of specialist foods. We service delis, gourmet food shops, on-line retailers, hotels, restaurants, gift shops and the independant sector mainly in the South-East. We are soon to start selling some exciting new products from Central Europe and want to expand the business and numeric and geographical distribution quickly and just as importantly cost effectively across all areas of the UK.
We are searching for self employed sales agents with relevant experience and in depth knowledge of and preferably current contacts within these sectors who are able to hit the ground running and contribute effectively and rapidly to our growth.
Many of the products are completely new to the UK and we believe their potential is very large. This project will commence in December 2008 / January 2009.
We would hope that these positions may lead in the near future to secure employment positions should this be required.
Mature applicants with relevant experience are more than welcome. Needless to say a minimum requirement is an active love of food, cooking and experimental cuisine.
