PR, relationships building, & marketing material production for photography software

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional very familiar with the photography industry. The role includes these responsibilities:

- Develop strategies to communicate with target market
- Build press distribution lists and maintain relationships with media and key influencers in the photo software industry
- Nurture and grow relationships with affiliates
- Produce, pitch and distribute press releases
- Oversee the production of promotional material, liaising with internal and external content creators
- Assist with copywriting, editing and proofreading

Required

- Many years experience in a marketing position
- Keen interest in photography at amateur or professional level, and experienced in using a DSLR
- Excellent communication skills
- Native English speaker
- Self-motivated and able to work relatively independently with minimal direction

Preferred

- Effective copywriting ability
- Photoshop and Lightroom proficiency
- Have a good network of media contacts in the photography industry
- Comfortable with email-based discussion as main communication tool
