PR / Media Relations /

Communications Professional Based near West London who can assist with a variety of PR assignments. A significant amount of work will include researching journalists, selling stories, procuring media interviews and contacting publishers to propose media partnerships. Support will likely be required delivering other more creative initiatives too. Most of the job can be done remotely but the ability to attend occasional meetings at short notice in London will also be necessary.

The qualifications required are:
- Outstanding ability to sell on the phone, in particular pitching stories successfully to editors and proposing media partnership deals to publishers
- Immaculate presentation in writing and in person
- Experience in PR/business development, most usefully in business to business, financial and travel sectors
- Ability to run highly successful communications projects
- Some experience using social media in PR campaigns

The core skills include the ability to be charming, highly persuasive, proactive and efficient. Examples of convincing proposals you have conceived, evidenced by copy that is concise and arguments that are clearly substantiated would be most helpful.

It is anticipated that a day or two per week for the next few weeks will be needed. However, if things go well, more work could be required.
