PR freelancer

We are a design company based in London.I am launching a modern muslim fashion label in the very near future.We are looking for a competent pr person to assist in the following:

Working with our pr agency to focus on the fashion aspect of our campaign.
To approach buyers of high end department stores
To contact fashion editors/press.

The candidate should be capable in writing press releases,communicating with the press and buyers.Have sound knowledge of the fashion industry.Located in London to be accessible for regular meetings with our PR agency and myself.Confident enough to work independently and as a team.They should have existing contacts with the fashion press and with buyers.

Our strategy is to stock exclusively at Harrods and for the Middle East Muslim women to come to London to buy our clothing range.Once we have established our brand we will penetrate into the Middle East market.

We want to break stereotypes of how the western women have this misconception that the abaya is a sign of oppression and through a strategic pr campaign we want to address that the abaya is liberating and we choose to wear it.
The label will be young,stylish and chic but with a abit of quirky British sense of humour.We will follow fashion trends and will need your services on a seasonal basis.
