THE JOB
REASON TO BE :
• Guard the brand in Europe for Packaged Food: ensure that the brand values and equity be respected across the European markets
• Define and implement the brand strategy consistently in Europe, taking into account the markets specificity and controlling the local partners
• Optimize a profitable European range of products
DIMENSIONS :
• Territory: All Europe, Middle-East, Africa, with focus on Western Europe
• Channels: Retail, Out-Of-Home, Food Service Industry
• Member of the Steering Committee
• Member of the Crisis Team
• Member of the European Marketing Committee
MISSIONS :
Responsible for Global Marketing Strategy on the set territory:
• Define the strategic orientations taking into account the consumer trends and brand’s equity
• Define, recommend and implement the short and long term marketing plans, globally and by target country
• Define accurate planning and gate process
• Set up qualitative and quantitative objectives: measure efficiency, align and perform
• Supervise the launch of new products
Driving force behind Category Management:
• Meet target customers to broaden the relationship, better know them and act proactively
• Get accurate data and detailed analysis of the categories and target customers’ performances
• Support the Sales force with tailor-made plans
Responsible for Marketing Budget and Products Profitability:
• Define, follow up and control the overall expenses: consumer marketing, trade marketing and promotions
• Optimize overall profitability of each product line
• Measure the Return On Investment of the different marketing actions
Responsible for Communication:
• Define the brand positioning and values with Corporate and the European Marketing Committee
• Develop the brand awareness and communicate the values and positioning
• Define, recommend and implement the communication policy (above and below the line) and the choice of agencies and activities
Supervision and animation:
• Supervise, train and motivate marketing and QA team
• Coordinate team’s work and check / evaluate results
• Discussion partner with Asia and USA
Others:
• Assist the Managing Director according to the team’s needs
