Marketer & Copywriter

A unique quid pro quo opportunity for a marketer with copywriting skills

A live-in job, rent free, fully expensed - food, bed & board in luxury accommodation.

Based in Germany but work is for UK clients in English language.

This role allows you to trade your expertise for living rent free with benefits.
4 days a week - 1 day off during the week (usually Fridays).

If you\'ve been made redundant or finding work is dry this could be the perfect compromise. We can offer you a way to maintain your CV, a nice roof over your head and the chance to see another country. You could even do your own freelance work in your free time.

WHAT WE OFFER -

A role in marketing communications, tourism & copywriting, research.

A friendly informal working environment working with a 40 something English couple living in Germany.

Work is in the English language and UK orientated.

Location: A high end luxury home /office environment in the beautiful middle region of Germany near Heidelberg.

Use of insured car with weekly petrol allowance.

Full bed and board: bedroom & private living room with large flatscreen TV (separate entrance).
Use of our swimming pool and sauna.

THE WORK INCLUDES (4 days a week)

Business to consumer -

Marketing communications - Concepting, researching and fulfilment of online and printed: newsletters, emails, direct mail, adverts, blog entries, devising social media entries.

Brand & Customer Relationship Management - Reviewing feedback/invites, addressing issues, publishing testimonials.

PR & business development - Raising awareness, writing press releases, contacting publications, preparing proposals, assisting with business plan.

Routine Office admin - spreadsheet work, diary mgt, filing, website broken links management.

Customer liaison/bookings - Following up enquiries and selling to their needs in emails and over the phone.
Follow ups. Booking fulfilment/admin.


QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED -


Educated to degree level.

Exceptional spelling, grammar and writing skills - essential.

Excellent spoken English and communication skills - essential.

Experience of researching and writing for online media blogs or news stories - essential.

Be a fast typist with touch type keyboard skills, ideally 60wpm + - essential.

A clear and confident telephone manner - essential.

PC literate with most MS word processing and spreadsheet - essential.

A real self-starter with a natural ability to find solutions & project manage - essential.

Highly organised with ability to work to regular tight deadlines - essential.

Be able to provide excellent references from university / jobs - essential.

Have a full clean driving licence - essential.

Must be able to work in EU without a visa - essential.

Awareness of current affairs and well read - essential.

Knowledge of marketing operations, strategy & business plans.


ABOUT LIVING & WORKING WITH US

Living in a rural village setting nearby the beautiful university city of Heidelberg you have a wealth of culture and nature on your doorstep.

Distance from towns - 20 minutes drive.

village is on the edge of a nature park and has 2 pubs, sport centre with well maintained hard tennis courts.

The house is spacious with small indoor swimming pool and sauna.
You will have your own living quarters: separate entrance, own sitting room with TV. Shared kitchen.

It\'s a friendly household where we enjoy good food, books, wine, films, dog walking. If you\'ve got the skills, have drive, energy and appreciate culture you will fit in well. We have small dogs so you must be an animal lover.

We are providing full bed and board, use of insured expensed car and 100 euros p/w in return for your labour x4 days a week.
