Magazine Advertising Sales

Replica Magazine, an online arts mag aimed at 16-30 year olds across the country, is launching a new project and needs a competent sales person to handle the sale of advertising space in the magazine.

Later this year we will be releasing a CD to be distributed throughout the UK. The CD will be released bi-monthly thereafter, with a circulation of 40,000. The CD will contain a PDF of our digital magazine. We need someone with experience in media sales to manage the sale of all adverts in the magazine.

Candidates will need to be confident and experienced enough to be able to handle the project entirely themselves. This is a big project- please do not apply unless you feel you are up to the task.

Work will be entirely commission based for the first year, after that (assuming a successful relationship is formed) we can offer a salary. Adverts will be expensive and the number you sell depends on your own performance. For each issue we will set a target number of spaces to sell. Commission on these will be 10%. Any sales beyond these targets will be given a 25% commission.
