Interim Director of Sales & Marketing
Location: Bristol and surrounding towns
Hours of Work: Part time (flexible)
We are a recruitment business in the healthcare sector relied upon for exceptional quality of service. With an expanding customer base, critical strategic change is on the agenda, in order for us to achieve the objective of dominating our sector as a truly successful force.
As Interim Sales & Marketing Director you will be responsible for generating revenue, customer acquisition and customer satisfaction through innovative, smart and stylish marketing and sales driving initiatives. Ultimately you will be responsible for driving sales, customer acquisition and retention, developing new territories and markets, pushing customer segment migration and driving KPIs (conversion rates, frequency and spend).
The role will involve you visiting existing customers at their sites, with a view to building relationships and Trust.
Reporting to: Operations Director
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute Sales and Marketing plan to support and deliver overall business strategy and goals.
• Develop and deliver personalised customer propositions and targeted marketing campaigns based on segmentation of customer base.
• Implement, research, identify, initiate and nurture strategic marketing opportunities, partnerships and alliances with a view to acquiring and converting new customers, as well as solidifying brand positioning.
• Devise appropriate campaigns to drive new customers across each of our segments
• Create bespoke marketing and communications activity for select segments of our database
• Manage and/or deliver competitive reviews, strategic studies, business planning and other complex marketing projects.

Experience and Skills
• Significant commercial experience gained in services sector.
• In-depth understanding of the healthcare sector (both private and public) desirable but not essential.
• Proven track record of executing the full marketing mix: advertising, media, promotions and communications
• A sound grounding in CRM practices and principles
• Be a thought leader - creative thinking and ideas generation are key for this role
• Proven commercial experience of working in a fast paced environment
