Image Sales and Marketing Representative

DURATION: Initially one year commission based contract

COMMISSION RATES: 40% of the total sale / license fee amount

COMPANY BACKGROUND

We are a UK based photography company. Our mission is to provide top quality images to a broad range of publications and projects throughout the world.

OBJECTIVE(S) OF THE POSITION:

To promote the sales of photos from the Business image library to new and existing customers/clients.

ROLES:

Image Library:

• Contact potential clients in the UK and the USA via telephone and email, to promote the sales of images from the online image library (featuring the work of Jason Friend) to be licensed for reproduction in magazines, newspapers, posters and other purposes.

• Prepare virtual Light-Boxes’ by searching the online library and submitting a selection of images that meet the requirements of the client.

• Follow up contacts to keep the client informed and to provide them with additional Light-Boxes’ to match their forthcoming projects.

• Provide quotes of charges to clients using online business calculator.

• Spend time familiarising with the images online and new collections as they are added.

• Ensure ongoing promotion of Business via use of logos, headed paper and email signature as appropriate, when corresponding with potential/existing clients.

Information Management:

• Maintaining the business Contact database & records’ ensuring accurate records are kept of all client details and status of sales.

• Communicate progress to Business Manager as required.
