I need help/tutor in google adwords

For using Dynamic Search Ads I believe it's only available in the "Search network only" section is this correct? So in my campaigns where I have it set to "Display network only" I seem to have some ads that have the {KEYWORD:default} in my ads. Is this an incorrect way of setting it up? Will these ads not show up anyway? Or is it okay to have these dynamic search settings in my ads in the "Display Network Only" campaign. I see i am getting clicks. So what does it mean when Dynamic Search Ads are only available in my "search network only" campaign?
