Experienced Strategic Digital Marketing Consultant

Would you be able to help a small, service-based business implement its current marketing plan?

Tactics and channels we'd like to use have already been identified on a Trello board.

You will be providing support to the business owner via an online video call for 1 hour per week initially.


Your Brief:

1. Advise on building and maintaining email marketing channel

2. Advise on building and maintaining blog/vlog

3. Help develop a set of marketing KPIs

4. Advise on creating a marketing KPIs dashboard for management to automatically collect all required data

5. Advise on budgets, timescales and resources needed to achieve KPIs

6. Advise on building and maintaining paid channels (Adwords, Social Ads)

7. Help finding remarketing programme to use

8. Advise on best practices for content creation

9. Help with the implementation of a content calendar

10. Provide ad-hoc support via instant messaging during project for any queries that arise from business owner

11. Help business owner recruit marketing freelancer(s) to help implement plan


We provide face to face language lessons to 2 customer segments. Companies and individuals. In 8 cities across the UK. Planning on expanding to 36 towns and cities in the next 3 years.

Frequency and duration of sessions may change depending on needs of the project.


You Will Need:

- At least 10 years experience digital marketing (As a minimum, a solid knowledge of SEO, PPC, Email, Social Media)

- Prior experience in a consulting role for small businesses

- Specific experience with service-based businesses

- Solid, proven track record designing marketing plans for small businesses (you should be able to provide examples and references when requested)

- Experience hiring and managing freelance workers on marketing projects

- Be able to provide concrete results you have achieved for past clients (e.g. increased profits and other measurable statistics)

- Excellent understanding of marketing process and measurement right through to profit

- Happy to commit to ad-hoc sessions for 3 months or more

- Familiarity with Trello
