Crowdfunding support

Hi,

We're thinking about putting a project about an intelligent guitar effects pedal (can do much more than a standard fixed one - it can be programmed/customised) on Kickstarter/Indiegogo.

Do you have experience in creating the right content/strategy on positioning the product (as kit, as open source, as finished item, iterative approach, ...) ?
