Advertising Sales

We create and publish various series of handbooks across much of the North East UK region. We are changing our focus to become more commercially ad-based and increase our circulation, and would like somone with experience to do most of the ad sales whilst we develop this shift.

We would prefer someone who knows the area - our target audiences are local people in local communities. And if possible someone used to dealing with local authorities, health, welfare and community organisations. Is there anyone relatively local who could do something like 4 weeks work in April 2010 on our current publication?
