Marketing for podcast I seek an experienced marketing consultant to spearhead the social media promotion of my fledgling podcast program. The chosen candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing a cohesive online strategy to rapidly increase listenership of my weekly interview show across multiple platforms. Key responsibilities will include crafting engaging social media posts, maintaining an energetic online presence, scheduling content promotion, monitoring engagement metrics, and reporting performance data and insights. Creativity and attention to detail are imperative, as the consultant will represent my podcast brand voice online. Experience leveraging hashtags and community building tactics to seed viral growth is preferable. Knowledge of podcast directories, rating/review forums, and audience targeting methods will also prove valuable. The initial project is for two months with opportunities for extension pending results. Proficiency with major social networks such as Spotify, apple audio, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn as well as other platforms is essential. Candidates proficient with promotional tools like Later, SproutSocial and Crowdcast will be favoured. This is an exciting opportunity to help launch a new podcast and cultivate a dedicated listenership from the ground floor.
