Experience Level: Entry
We are a Footwear brand, but we are looking to diversify into other areas. We are in need of expert advice on how we can re-design our logo and branding to portray a 'mid market' price, while most importantly saying we are 'colourful and fun'. We already have a graphic, but need the work on our brand development in terms of our LOGO FONT, then our brand guidlines so we are display out new colourful branding across all medias.

The job will entail:-
Create examples of a new font
Put examples together on how this will be used in marketing materials
Once agreed, we can then create our logo in all formats for use.
Simple but effective branding guidelines.

    Hey Tony. What guidelines do you have now? What all areas are you looking to diversify into? Is this for a parent brand or are you rolling out new products?

    You need to create your brand guidelines first. Visual and verbal IDs (which include fonts, logo, colours, name etc) should always be created last. This is where I'd suggest you start, especially if you're pivoting. You need to get your positioning sorted and then pivot off that - not just adjust a font. I'd also suggest you learn HOW to manage your brand yourself so you can undertake the internal guideline adjustments and updates yourselves. This will save you a ton of resources moving forward as well as give you more control over the brand as you grow.
