Magazine designs and layout

I am looking for a modern graphic designer that can add the 'pop' and 'wow' factor to regular publications. There are, at present, three different publications I produce that are aimed at different target audiences, so each design must be different and unique. I like the 'look and feel' of Cosmopolitan, but do not want a replica of their exact style.

This graphic design job would ideally suit someone who is experienced with all elements of graphic design - including PhotoShop and who can think outside the box. The design and layout must be modern and highly visual. The copy and images will be provided. The final delivery of the publications must be in InDesign. Page numbers will vary from month to month, depending on content and advertisers, but the average is around 24 – 36 pages.

This project would ideally suit:
1. A designer that likes to push the envelope in terms of design concepts, imagery and new ideas (but who can make them workable and visually appealing)
2. Someone who can commit to monthly deadlines (ongoing), which have to be met - no excuses
3. Pays attention to detail and checks work before forwarding it on (I do not want to waste valuable hours requesting, then waiting for changes to mistakes made by the freelancer)
4. Is English-speaking (UK English medium used).
Please do not waste time bidding if you feel you are not able to meet all of the above criteria. I will also require samples of your previous works. But to the successful candidate, monthly on-going work is guaranteed and if you are able to impress me, a great deal of creative licence!
