Logo / monogram / stamp / new look - HELP!

Description: Hi,
I'm a designer myself - but I am totally stuck... I need to update my logo and I also wish to make a wax seal stamp to accompany the new logotype. I would love it to have a fresh and modern look - but with a retro / vintage / almost a heraldic feel (but not to busy!). Maybe a monogram style design??
The company name is "I Love Design" and I offer custom designed posters and canvas prints - as well as limited collections of art prints.

As I'm banging my head against the wall with my own creativity for the new look - I'm open to any smart suggestion! The Wax seal (black) will go on a new collection of monochrome art prints - and hopefully be incorporated to the brand. Style wise... I'm looking for something similar to the small logo on Maria Rivans picture (Medusa)

I really like the look of Mastershine Lounge logo (attached) with a simple M for the seal and a little more detailed logo... The swallow logo and wax seal also caught my eye.

I'm not sure the description make any sense.. But, if you feel you're up for a challenge, please get in touch!
