Logo for a gym

I need a logo for a gym called "The Engine Room Fitness Centre" In the past we've used a simple train. I'd like to make less of the train and have an image of somebody training with a dumbbell. I like it to have a retro feel. I need it to appeal to men and women as we have a studio and so have equal amounts of male and female clients. I like logos that look like buttons (i.e. Keys on a computer). I like the font used by golds gym. I like retro wallpaper backgrounds. I'll attach some clip art for ideas.
