Logo Design and Header Design for WordPress site

I would like a revamp of both my current logo and my website header (See current at http://wpcourses.co.uk/). Want to keep same blue colour, with either yellow or gold (whichever you think looks better) and keep the "WP Courses" with tagline "learn WordPress in a day" below and keep a simple abstract graphic like the current one,using the same two colours. Choose a similar typeface/font. I'd like the logo to look modern and professional. Final header must be 960 × 120 pixels and a low file size jpg for fast page loading (10-15kb). Would like full-res copies of both header and logo in all the most useful formats including transparent png.
