Loft conversion structural help

I am a building surveyor with little experience in loft conversions. We have just set up a building company and have our first loft conversion job. we would rather not use steel but if possible double up the floor joist if possible. I have a dwg. and pdf. drawing that I have completed of the property and its existing structure. looking for structural drawings or advice so we can supply to building control
