Live Skype based Tutorial on MS Access

I need a quick lesson in setting up multi-criteria queries, and best process to use Access to update data/deduplicate by merging- if it does that....I do not want to waste loads of time reading about stuff I dont want to do! I am OK with salesforce.com reports/imports etc- just cant work out how to get Access to play nicely for this task despite the Help docs. Need a person to explain what it can do to help me do my data manipulation tasks.
