Keyword Research

We are going through a process of checking the page titles for all our categories and optimising them more thoroughly.

There are in total 560 categories mirrored across 4 sites which each need new titles.

The work involves researching keyphrases and creating the page title for each of the pages.

Each title must contain at least 2 keyphrases, preferably 3, with 1 main phrase.
Each title must be readable and make sense, so no pipes and no just pushing three phrases together (that is what we have at the moment).
Keywords chosen must be justifiable, so no guessing as we require facts as to why one phrase has been chosen over another.
The same title cannot be used in all 4 sites.
Each site needs to target different phrases; however some overlap in keyphrases is okay and in some circumstances may be unavoidable.

A list of the pages will be given.

Part of the interview process will involve us giving you one of the categories and asking you to research and create the title for each site.

Our target market is the UK so all research should be based on UK searches.
