Hi,
This is an updated job spec of a previous job. Sorry to everyone who already submitted bids for the previous job but PPH prevented me from updating the previous job. I’m endeavouring to be more specific here so people can submit accurate bids.
I have a website which I’ve built with joomla and which mainly uses the listbingo component (great component incidentally).
A couple of users have mentioned that they are unable to submit new listings for some reason. As such, I’d like you to:
1. check and fix for any bugs/errors re user registration and adding listings for all internet browsers (I’ve been able to add listings but I’m not sure what browsers others are using)
2. Check site security and for any particular vulnerabilities. I collect personal data and want to ensure that it’s properly protected. Should the site have extra protections with user registration as well?
In addition, I want to add the following new functionality on listings pages. Currently, I've restricted contact info fields (name, email, phone etc) to only be visible to registered users. However, I'd prefer that these field names are visible but instead of showing the users actual contact info, they instead show "please Login or Join to view" with links to the login and Join pages. For eg when a user is not logged in:
Contact name: Please Login or Join to View
Once users are logged in:
Contact name: Bob Jones
Finally, the featured listings module and the 3 modules (Add boat, browse boats and search boats) should only be visible on the home page. However, they appear on some other pages, such as login page or my account page and maybe other pages. I only want them to appear on the home page.
Please contact me for the url.
Thanks and sorry again to those who have already submitted bids.
