I have this live site: www.xxxxxxxxxxx.com I have cloned this using akeeba backup to www.xxxxxxxx.us and on this site, the same products will be for sale in US Dollars. However, while doing this I thought it worthwhile getting virtuemart upgraded to 2.0.
The current setup is Joomla 1.5.25 and virtuemart 1.1.9. As this is a busy live site, I need for you to work on another Akeeba clone of this site on another 'off line' domain (which I will provide), upgrade Virtuemart to 2.0 and then copy across to both .com and .us live sites as seemless as possible.
The .us site is new and not active as such right now so there is no problem what time of day this site is done. However, the .com site should be done at a not so busy period and as qucikly as possible (early monring UK time) in order little interuption would be seen.
The update of products to US dollars (per item) is not needed as we will do this ourselves but we do require local US tx configuration, the CC interfacing, shipping modules configured etc. The shipper is likely to be FedEx.
The UK site is live and working with SagePay but the shipping config is basic. Some enhancement and possible interface with FedEx (if possible in the UK) if possible at all.
Simpler than it sounds, tell me what you can do!
