Internet Explorer 7 & 8 (unresponsive script bug)

Hello, We are the owner and designer of a website. The website was converted to drupal through a template that was chosen by us.

Most of the designing and feature building has been done by my team and me but we seem to have a problem with the website on Internet Explorer 7 & 8.
We get the following message: "A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"

I would like for an offer in order to fix this bug.

We believe that the problem occurs because it takes a long time for the map inputs to download and explorer times out. Unfortunately we cannot afford not to have them load last because this is the only way we can keep the websites loading time fast.
