Information gathering

Hello,

I need a list of all the Motorcycle and Motor (Cars) races which are held in the UK and the more popular ones held around the world.

This information is to get an overview of the current events being held, so the breadth of the competitions is important.

Broken down into:
Name of race/championship/title
Type of car/bike raced
How long it's been running (e.g. since 1960)
How frequently it's held (annually, every 4 years)
The main months they are held (Jan-August, for example)


If the details aren't easily available don't worry about it - they are of lesser importance. I really want to know what races/competitions are out there.

This is fairly straightforward information to find and I can't imagine it would take more than 3 hours.
