Implement Custom Styles on my google map

Hi guys I am making a dynamic map using google maps API, I need to customise the style of the map, which should be easy enough but I just cant the JS right.
Can you implement the two types of style options (default style applied to map and selectable styles that work like switches - kind of like when you hit satellite for satellite view map, but mine will just switch out some colours) on to a STATIC html/js/css version of my map, so I can move forward in my project and apply it to my dynamic map at a later date. To get paid you ONLY need to make the static versions work, I will take it from there

..... but whenever I try to integrate it into my personal project I just get stuck, when I make fresh maps the documentation serves me well and I can do it... So really I just need a bit of help from someone with Javascript experience or even better Google Maps experience to finish off my project and give it a nice custom feel to my simple map project.

This is really a Ten minute job for anyone trained in JS, or anyone who has done this before and I would be willing to pay around 25 gbp
