Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Information for the business: 1 business food & bev, 1 general ltd company
Industry: Business
Type of logo: Word mark, Letter form, Abstract mark, Pictorial mark, Emblem, Character
Brand name/slogan in logo: 1st: Superphenon 2nd: BTech Ventures
Ideas for the visual style: 1st: Clean, modern, distinctive 2nd: Business-like, versatile, trustworthy
Things to avoid: 1st: obvious use of tea leaf (everyone in tea extracts uses this) 2nd: anything too far from idea of original or anything too 'tricksy'
Preferred colors: 1st: must involve green to a certain extent 2nd: try to keep original colours
Where the design will be used: 1st: food and bev industry 2nd: across multiple business sectors
Extra notes: 1st:
This logo has already been developed by PPH but we are not entirely happy with it - too obvious. Everyone in tea extracts uses the tea leaf. We would like something doing with the font to make it more modern and clean. We would like the design to concentrate on the 'S' of Superphenon. We like what 'Unilever' have done with their latest logo revision. It gives the idea that it conveys 'natural' and would like our brand to do the same. We also need the 'R' in a circle for registered trade mark. (files of various revisions attached). Didn't want it too far removed from the original so as to be totally unrecognisable yet original looks v amateurish and is v poor. Needs to be unique and distinctive, convey tea but not too obviously by using just a simple leaf. Though would be to use the 'S' and create a design within it.
2nd:
This is the name of our umbrella company. Needs to be used across multiple industry sectors. Needs to look professional, business-like, clean, modern, not fussy. Colour-wise not too sure but may want to keep what we already have to keep consistency.
