I need to get a Wordpress theme customized and hosted

Hi all...I am looking to launch a new website that revovles around posting articles and giving analysis in the specific technology field that I am in.

Rates are negotiable, for the right candidate. Currently working on CC verification (give me a couple of days).

I have a fairly good grasp of web technology, but have been out of the web design game for quite some time. And so, I require someone to help me with the following:


-Take a Wordpress theme (I have narrowed down to 2 from WooThemes) and load this theme into a hosted domain name (I will cover all costs of Theme, hosting, and domain name puchase)
-Help with necessary customizations to get the layout up and running on the domain to my satisfaction (I will have wireframes ready upon our first meeting)
-Train me on how to use Wordpress to update content on my own
-Setup in a way that I can eventually pass most of the content management to an assistant magazine editor
-Start date: Oct 1st
-End date: December 1st
-Since I have a hectic full-time job, I'm not looking for an intense 3 day deliverable per-se, but rather someone to work on this in a staged approach with me when I have time to dedicate to creating the site (usually after work or on the weekends)
-Anyone with experience with designing websites specifically relating to news/magazines is a plus
-Ideally prefer a face-to-face meet with someone in the Toronto area, but open to remote candidates in Canada, US, or UK.
-Expect excellent communication and responsiveness within reasonable timeframes
-Anyone with a IT/telecommunications technology background and/or wants to learn more about the "machine-to-machine" industry space is welcome!
-Any other skills or value you think you can add to this project (e.g. graphic design, copy editing), please feel free to let me know
