I need someone to commission speaker for a global climate change conference

I am looking for someone to commission 8 to 10 senior, global speakers for a international conference within the sustainable development/climate change sector for a forum which is taking place in Doha, Qatar, in December 2012.

To be considered for this job it is ESSENTIAL you:
a.) Have demonstratable previous experience of successfully commissioning senior speakers for conferences and forums.
b.) Have good knowledge of and/or experience within, the sustainable development, climate change and green business sector, as this is essential to be able to identify the correct speakers and successfuly approach and integrate them.

I am more than happy for the selected candidate to work from home, but it would be good to have a couple of initial face-to-face meetings in London.

In terms of timescales we would be looking to start ASAP, and ideally have all speakers commissioned by early September at the latest.

For the chosen candidate there is the opportunity for a lot more work of this type, as we've got a number of events, conferences and forums within this sector that we would need help on.
