I need help with transferring my emails over to another host provider

I have just transferred my emails from one host provider to GoDaddy. However, my email address do not seem to be working. I have been receiving texts from clients all day with regard to this issue so I really need to get it resolved asap. I have my GoDaddy username and passwords but I have no idea what I need to do next or indeed why the emails have stopped working. I've tried speaking to GoDaddy but I'm afraid I am still none the wiser.
