I need help with moving my existing website into Wordpress + some WP mentoring

Hi there, I have a website built in wix.com which I would like to bring over into Wordpress system and add a blog to. It's a yoga website with just a few text based pages so quite small in scale.

I am pretty web savvy and will enjoy doing some of the work myself, plus I want to understand the system well to be able to continue keeping the site up to date and possibly add new features to it later. I need help with the following:
- advice on where to build the site until it's ready to publish
- some help with hosting - currently in reg123
- free theme or paid theme? Going through the process of getting a theme and setting it up
- some SEO work
- this should be about 5 hours work, maybe more

So it's not just getting the job done, I would love to work with someone who is willing to teach me a little bit about Wordpress. Also I'm planning to expand my activities soon so I would probably add new features in the future (and work with you again if you have time). The theme would also need to be chosen with future growth opportunities in mind. The fee here is a guesstimate, I don't have lots to spend but I appreciate the value of having the website set up well. Time frame: new site live February/mid March
