I need a WordPress web site build.

General information for the website: Hotel web site
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Description of every page/module: www.ardgowanhotel.co.uk

We have a new design completed and the resources will be available in editable PSD format.

Much of their current business comes through an external booking system that costs them 15% so the sites main goals are to provide a better SEO platform, present a more modern image, and drive more direct business through their own booking system (currently on the site).

We want to use a responsive WordPress structure.
Site map attached.

All phone numbers will be click to call. All emails will be click to email.

BOOKING FORM

The booking form appears on the home page and the rooms page and it’s there to attract direct booking as they don’t have to pay commission on these.

They like the look of the form on the Rufflets page. The booking system is delivered in an iFrame and is a 3rd party product so there is no work here other than copying the current form fields and formatting the booking form on the hew header.

RESTAURANT VOUCHERS

The restaurant vouchers here http://www.ardgowanhotel.co.uk/voucher.php use a 3rd party service so we need to keep this on the site. Again this is just copying the code as it’s already in place.

IMAGES

All new images will be supplied. I am currently working on these.

DESIGN

HOME PAGE
The home page banner consists of 2 components:
1) A booking form that uses the hotels own booking system (albeit through a 3rd party)
2) A slider covering the right of the banner.
The 4 boxes should have a rollover function so the images appear with text overlay:
• Rooms – See our high quality rooms
• Golf – Stay just 400 yards from the Old Course
• Late Offer – Checkout our late offers
• Dining – Fine dining in Playfairs Restaurant
The rest should be self-explanatory.

INNER PAGE FULL WIDTH

The main use of this template is for the rooms page.

THE ROOMS PAGE

Is made up of 6 room options. By clicking on a room image a we should go to a page of images with a check availability for on the page (same as is in the header).

INNER RIGHT COLUMN

Left column is for content.
Right column with have a location map (Google maps), a Trip Advisor Cert of Excelelnt (TA provide the code for this), a short Twitter feed (2 posts), and a Facebook like/follow widget.
