I need a custom field in a frontend form and than set up a search based on these.

I have a website based on directory theme. I need to convert this directory theme to an event management theme. So i basically need two things:
1) in front end form: http://www.eventico.it/submit/ i need to insert two fields called "Event Start Date" and "Event End Date", this two fields passes a value to a custom field (the date has a timepicker for the value) in a spot custom post type
2) I need to search date for "today events" and based on a date selected by the user
Can you do this type of work? If yes, how much i pay?
