Home Page make-over - high level graphics work & design

We want the most impressive spectacular design makeover to home page to launch a new service.

If you are about to paste a generic reply, then you are in the wrong place and is NOT the job for you, please read and understand and pitch for this job.

The procedure is this
1. Pitch for the job
a. show me examples of your work
b. describe your approach for this job
c. Sell your skills to us (we will get dozens of replies and need to know why we should use you)
d. We’ll need to know if you are graphics only, or want to code the whole page if so what are your php/html/js/ajax, SEO skills etc. etc.
e. Of course the confident, professional, keen amongst you will supply image drafts and roughs as part the original pitch.

2. The Rules
a. You can apply to just do the graphics or the whole job
b. NO FLASH?
c. One composite powerful screen design, not a page of boxes and menu’s
d. SEO friendly (if you are coding the page)
e. Must WC3 Validate (if you are coding the page)
f. The general look and feel of the page must remain, this is not a redesign. The four existing product hero images, the search, the Dragons’ Den image must remain
g. The accreditations must be accessible, even if not on permanent show
h. Must not include images that are
i. Not designed by you
ii. Owned by us
iii. Licenced to us (e.g shutterstock images)
i. We will own the IPR of the finished work

3. The Scenario
a. We are about to launch a new service on our site, it’s a designer showcase where featured jewellery designers and their designs are promoted.
b. It is NOT our core business and therefore must feature NOT dominate

4. Thoughts and ideas
a. Kinda like the idea of ring designs coming from a vanishing point in the distance
b. Design must have the WOW factor, be intelligent and contemporary

5. We will supply
a. Product images as transparent PNG
b. We will pay for any agency photographs you would like or need to include
c. Comment and narration during build up, where required
