We are looking for an experienced web AND mobile application developer or development team for our new and dynamic marketplace website and mobile application.

Mobile Application Platforms:
- iOS (iPhone/iPad) (must work on all versions of iPhone and iPad)
- Android (must work on all versions from 1.0 upwards)

The functional specifications are attached.

We are looking for experienced programmers to develop the core functions and features of the website AND mobile application. We would also like the branding and design to be done for both applications.

Database Design architect and Real-Time engine developer:
It is important that the core system developed will allow users to interchange between both web and mobile applications, see the same content in real-time and use the same features of both platforms.

For example:
-Users who have already signed up on the website can use the same login information to sign into the mobile application.
-Items listed on the site will also display in real-time on the mobile application.

The project will be split into 4 phases:

PHASE 1
Timeline: 3 weeks
Functions:
-Database development to store all user generated content, information, data; for example email addresses, passwords, details of listing activities and so on.
-User registration/login
-Notifications & Alerts

PHASE 2
Timeline: 7 weeks
Functions:
-Buyer and Seller activities (Focus on user generated content)
-Full Social Media integration features and notifications
-Location based listing and management on several categories
-GPS Locator; buyers and sellers can see exactly where each other are on the map and get directions to meet each other
-User profiles and activity pages

PHASE 3
Timeline: 3 weeks
Functions:
-Payments System; There will be financial transactions made through the site so the system must be fully secure
-Our service information pages i.e. About, How It Works, FAQs, Terms and Conditions, Mobile Apps (see www.whipcar.com/howitworks for how we would like these information pages to function)

PHASE 4:
Timeline: 3 Weeks
Functions: Branding and Design

We will pay you for each completed phase. Please provide quotes for each phase.

Although we will happily consider freelancers, we're more interested in companies as we require commitment to a 6 months post implementation support and also on-going support of the site for which we would consider signing a maintenance contract.

This is an urgent requirement and I'm looking for someone who can start within the next 2 weeks and commit to a 16 week completion schedule. If you feel you need longer to complete the project, please let me know how long you need to complete it and I will be happy to consider it. Please note that whatever new time is agreed will be binding and delivery will have to be met on the date otherwise, the project will be cancelled and no payment made.
