Platforms:

We are looking for an experienced app developer or app development company to build an iPhone and Android app for our online marketplace website.

The functional specification is attached.

We are looking for experienced programmers to develop the core functionalities and features of the mobile application. Although you will not be doing the design work, the mobile application functions must be well structured and laid out so that we can easily do the design work when we require.

Database design and real-time engine:
The mobile application must be developed in a way that connects and syncs with our website’s database and real-time engine, so that all activity on the website displays in real-time on the mobile application, and vice versa.

The project will be split into 3 phases:

PHASE 1
Timeline: 3 weeks
Functions:
-Connect and sync app with our website, especially the database
-User registration/login
-Notifications & Alerts

PHASE 2
Timeline: 6 weeks
Functions:
-Buyer and Seller activities (Focus on user generated content)
-Full Social Media integration features and notifications
-Location based listing and management on several categories
-GPS Locator; buyers and sellers can see exactly where each other are on the map and get directions to meet each other
-User profiles and activity pages

PHASE 3
Timeline: 3 weeks
Functions:
-Payments System; There will be financial transactions made through the app so the system must be fully secure
-Our service information pages i.e. About, How It Works, FAQs, Terms and Conditions, Website details


We will pay you for each completed phase. Please provide quotes for each phase.

Although we will happily consider freelancers, we're more interested in companies as we require commitment to a 6 months post implementation support and also on-going support of the site for which we're happy to sign a maintenance contract.

I'm looking for someone who can start around 4 weeks from now (see job post date) and commit to a 12 weeks completion. If you feel you need longer to complete the project, please let me know how long you need to complete it and I will be happy to consider it. Please note that whatever new time is agreed will be binding and delivery will have to be met on the date otherwise, the project will be cancelled and no payment made.
