Help to create organised bookkeeping system: and possible future bookkeeping assistance!

We need someone to come and help us organise our bookkeeping processes. This will require someone physically coming into the office for, I would imagine, 1 or 2 days. We are based in Leytonstone East London.

We don't need someone to carry out the entry, but to show us the best way of organising our processes for the future and possibly show us a better way of organising our sage instant accounts system and our filiing.

Our current systems are as follows.

We have a booking system which issues invoices and records payments and from which we can send statements of accounts.

We are a year into VAT registration but are flat rated. until we got the above system, we entered all invoices into sage. The above system has made this unnecessary, however, we still use SAGE to record gross turnover on a monthly basis and monies received on a monthly basis.

The above systems cannot be integrated.

We have to pay a number of suppliers and manage petty cash.

As the business grows and becomes more complex, we need someone to help organise us and put systems in place so routines are adhered to.

Additionally, once the above has been carried out and we are nicely organised, it's very likely we will want some bookkeeping assistance - a few hours on a monthly basis to ensure all is kept up to date.

This will prevent us panicking on a quarterly and annual basis as we pull together our finances. It will also enable us to clearly see how the business is developing.
