Help set up my wordpress template

I have set up a film blog and purchased the following template

However, I want to site layout to look like Homepage III on the drop down on the above link. I have played around with various widgets etc but am really new to Wordpress and it just isn't working.

There isn't much content on the site as I had just been getting used to the system so I don't mind if it is a fresh install as I have the articles etc back up and can easily repost.
