Google maps serverside map generation

I'm looking for an experienced PHP developer to develop a module to interface with Google maps and generate a map with zoom and pan, click for more info and custom icons and callouts. Generation needs to server-side and must consider caching.

Volumes: there are between 500 - 1000 records

Samples and references will be required.

I would do this myself but don't have the time. Timescales are short!
